DIGITAL CONTENT COORDINATOR

Liz Lidgett Gallery and Design is seeking a creative and dynamic Digital Content Coordinator to join our small but passionate art gallery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our online presence, growing our clientele, and increasing brand visibility through social media platforms, online advertising, and client-focused loyalty programs. This is a key position with a variety of responsibilities, including content creation, customer relationship management, and integration of e-commerce and marketing strategies. The gallery already has a strong online presence—we’re looking for someone that has the confidence, initiative and experience to take us to the next level.
Key responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Oversee and execute a social media strategy across current platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) and introduce new platforms as needed to engage with a diverse audience. This includes regular posting, community management, and content creation to showcase events, artists, featured artworks and gallery services (interior design, public art facilitation, etc.).
- Loyalty Program Management: Develop, manage, and grow the gallery's current loyalty program to increase client retention, drive repeat visits, and expand our customer base. Create initiatives to encourage participation and measure program success.
- Photography & Content Creation: Capture high-quality images of art pieces, gallery events, and installations. Use photography to create engaging visual content for online platforms, ensuring the gallery’s online presence is consistently fresh and visually compelling.
- Online Advertising: Manage online advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, social media ads, and any other digital promotions. Track and analyze ad performance to optimize the gallery’s advertising budget and return on investment.
- Online Shop Integration: Oversee the seamless integration of the gallery’s online shop with social media platforms and Google, ensuring an easy and consistent shopping experience for our clients.
- Blog Management: Oversee and manage the gallery’s blog, ensuring regular posting of engaging and informative content. Ensure the blog aligns with the gallery’s overall voice and marketing objectives.
- Website Management Assistance: Assist with managing the gallery’s website. Work with the team to improve user experience and ensure smooth website navigation.
- SEO & Content Optimization: Ensure that the gallery’s website and blog are optimized for search engines (SEO). Utilize best practices to enhance organic search rankings, improve website traffic, and increase engagement through SEO-friendly content.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on social media performance, website traffic, ad performance, blog engagement, SEO results, and loyalty program success. Use data to suggest improvements and optimize strategies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and organization.
Required skills & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- An appreciation for art and the design world—you don’t need previous experience with art galleries, that can be learned.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and online content creation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) and their algorithms.
- Experience with online advertising (Google Ads, social media ads, etc.) and ability to analyze performance.
- Proficiency in photography and basic photo editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong writing skills, with experience creating compelling content that aligns with the brand’s voice.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage with clients and followers in a professional and personable manner.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Interest or background in art is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines is a plus.
- Need access to a car.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
