So, you have had your eye on a gorgeous piece by your favorite Liz Lidgett artist and you are ready to make the leap and buy it. Art is an investment that increases in value and improves the value of the space. We have a couple tips and tricks for saving up for the piece of your dreams!
  1. Setting aside 10% of each paycheck. There are a couple apps that will actually do this for you—my husband and I use Digit. It pulls the funds out of our account each month without us even having to think about it. It's handy and easy to set up and forget about.
  2. Skip your “splurge” for a little while. Instead of going out to lunch every day, pack a lunch and set the money aside that you would regularly spend on lunch to save up for that piece. Have a specific savings account that you can put this “lunch money” or “movie money” or “coffee money” in and you'll be pleasantly surprised how quickly it adds up!
  3. Art Money. We have worked with this partner for a while now and it has allowed so many of our collectors to purchase those big pieces they are dreaming about without having to pay the entire thing upfront. This glorious system allows you, as a collector, to pay 10% a month! It’s like lay-a-way but you can take the artwork home right away! Please let us know if you'd like to learn more about this payment option.
Hands down, the best part of our job is seeing our clients—you—fall in love with a piece of art. And, we work hard to make it possible for beginning collectors to start their original art collection without breaking the bank. We believe in art for everyone!
