We have made a commitment to support and represent BIPOC artists and strive to share their work with our clients. Below are Black women artists who we currently represent. Their work is full of beautiful color and wonderful energy.
Jessi is an American abstract artist living in Strasbourg, France. We will be having a special release later in this month and she has given us a sneak peek and, let me tell you, they are pretty breathtaking. Jessi’s work is sought after and we are proud to be the only American gallery to showcase her work. She has had her art on everything from canvas to bandages to notebooks to technology cases. Her work is featured on products at Casetify, Target, Pottery Barn Teen, Hallmark, Barnes & Noble, Tervis, Erin Condren and many more. She is known for her bright colors and the playful patterns that really make her work exude joy; just like her personality.

Fares
is a Spain native who started teaching herself about photography back in 2009 and her work has absolutely blossomed. What started out as a hobby to make sure her social media had “nice” photos of her on it became a way for Fares to express herself and allow her voice to be heard. Each piece has meaning and thought behind every square inch. Being a self portrait artist, her work is filled with heart and emotion. She uses the interactions she has and life she lives to influence her breathtaking pieces. Her goal is to make a whole story come to life in a single frame and does a beautiful job doing so. Her attention to detail is beautiful and seemingly effortless.

Roma’s
work is bright and playful in such a unique and simply Roma way. She was born and raised in the British Virgin Islands but now resides in Texas with her husband and two children. Painting was her first love and it took her 12 years to get back to the brush. Her stunning work is featured on Erin Condren products as well as phone cases and stunning leather bags. Her goal is to invoke joy through her vibrant and energetic work and succeeds.

Oklahoma based artist,
Raasheda
works with layering to make her works both sculptural and flat artwork. Like many of our artists here at Liz Lidgett Gallery, her work is colorful and bright in addition to her work being a creative exploration of dimension, color and layering. She involves herself in her community to help others express themselves through creative outlets and using those creative outlets as a wellness practice. Her inspiration comes from people, multidimensional concepts and nature and calls her art practice a “ …divine gift of love and expression that is a pleasure to share…” and equates its impact on a space the same as if magic was filling the space.
