Art Meets Design: Curating the Perfect Room & Artwork Pairings

Sara Kent-Schneider • September 26, 2024

Elevate your coastal bedroom by selecting artwork that brings harmony to the overall design

Hey there! Before we dive into this new series, “Art Meets Design,” let me introduce myself. I’m Sara, and I spent three years at a small interior design firm specializing in high-end residential interiors. One of my favorite parts? Curating art for clients or designing around their existing collections. My favorite way to elevate art is by layering it over textured wallcoverings for a rich, dimensional look. Now, I’m bringing those skills to Liz Lidgett Gallery + Design, where I help clients find the perfect pieces. Long story short—you’ll be seeing more from me!

At the heart of this room scheme is carefully chosen artwork by Meghan Bustard , which not only echoes the room’s soft, flowing lines and warm tones but also serves as the perfect finishing touch, pulling together the space in an elegant, understated way.
