A Show that Explores Emotion, Form, and Movement Beyond Representation

We're closing out 2024 with a bang! The final exhibit of the year, Dynamic Flow, premiers this Friday, December 6th.

After a busy November packed with holiday sales of smaller works, this new show takes things up a notch—spotlighting bold, large-scale pieces that demand attention. Dynamic Flow, features work from artists around the country inviting viewers to explore emotion, form, and movement beyond representation. Their approaches are as diverse as their perspectives. Some of the artists explore color as language, others use texture to evoke the tactile and the unspoken. Together, they highlight the power of abstraction to reflect our inner worlds while reshaping our understanding of the external. Whether you visit the gallery in person or explore the exhibit online at www.lizlidgett.com , these works are sure to make a statement and inspire. The group show highlights five talented artists represented by the gallery: Carrie Gillen , Rebecca Stern , Bethany Mabee , Kristen Abbott , Andrea Ferrigno.

And with the East Village buzzing with holiday spirit, there’s no better time to visit! The gallery, open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is not only a haven for world-class art but also a picture-perfect spot for holiday photos.

Artist Spotlights:

For this show, we added a personal touch by asking the five featured artists to answer a few art/process related questions and share behind-the-scenes photos of their work. Each artist now has their own blog post, giving you a chance to dive deeper into their creative processes, inspirations, and unique stories. It’s the perfect way to connect with the people behind the art and gain a new perspective on their incredible pieces! Click on the artist your interested in learning more about below:
