Quarantine Creations: Jimmy Navarro

Tina Ehrlich • May 26, 2020

It’s been a tough season for artists all around the world—both financially and creatively—and we’re working hard to support them during this time. With that in mind, we’re working with local artist Jimmy Navarro on Quarantine Creations as part of a larger series—a commission that will bring joy into your home and help you remember this strange time in years to come. If you remember, he's the artist we recently worked with on the downtown Des Moines prints!

Jimmy Navarro in his studio

Jimmy creates original paintings using oil and acrylic paint. He specializes in home portraits, pets and travel locations/landscapes. Made at home while in Quarantine, of course, he works from a photograph to create a unique, vibrant painting. Two sizes available as part of our Quarantine Creations series:

  • 8 x 10" canvas, $250
  • 11 x 14" canvas, $475

Let us know if you’re interested in a Quarantine Creation! We’ll get you on Jimmy’s list, collect the photo you'd like him to use and it should be finished within a month’s time.
