All Together

Last week we debuted a new show that is all about collaboration and building an art collection. We are so excited to partner with Amanda Reynal Interiors on this collection and share the work of 17 artists. There are five clusters around the gallery and each pairing shows how artwork by several artists pairs well together and compliments the decor around it.

I understand that most people do not live with white walls and art lighting like a gallery--nor do I think they should. Instead, I think people should live with art and furniture that means something to them, that is beautiful or is just really, really comfortable. The best moments in design happen when you bring beautiful artwork and interesting furniture together to create a feast for the eyes. The best interiors work when art and furniture are working all together. Hence the name of the show -- but also, there’s an added meaning of wishing we could all be together. Alas, this is another virtual show that you can see here. There are five groupings around the gallery that combine artwork by several artists and are paired with furniture from Amanda Reynal. All of the pairings were based off the idea that a client could place an entire one of these collections in a room together to start a collection and have the artwork feel complete. Each furniture grouping gives an example of how that artwork pairs with great furnishings.

It’s been a pleasure working with this artwork and with Amanda. Her eye for design is unmatched and on a personal level it is always fun to work with a dear friend.

Enjoy these amazing photos by Rick Lozier and I look forward to a time soon where we can be all together.

Inspired by Kendall Jenner’s recent Architectural Digest article for he mountain home, this bedroom creates a sanctuary that is both classic and contemporary. The result is a space that invites rest and reflection, radiating the calm, confident generosity suggested by its namesake: Benevolence.
