Jordan Crabill is a painter known for her vibrant and engaging works that depict the common and often overlooked beauties of everyday life. A beach cruiser leaning against a wooden fence, a messy table filled with heirloom china plates or a beach umbrella left standing after all the crowds have gone are the moments in time that inspire her to capture them. Born and raised in deep East Texas, Jordan finds her true artistic voice beyond the local scenery of bluebonnets, longhorn cattle and the red dirt backroads of her hometown and instead explores themes inspired by tropical landscapes, punchy color combinations, chinoiserie patterns and just a touch of pop art.
Jordan's art aims to elevate ordinary items and scenes into something extraordinary, inviting the viewer to see their surroundings through a more colorful and thoughtful lens. Jordan earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Texas in Tyler where she focused in ceramics as a hand builder. Based in Palestine, Texas she continues to create artwork that reflects her love for the joyful intricacies of everyday life.
