#LetsAddArt Anthropologie

I’m a big fan of Anthrolopologie’sbold color use in their furniture, home accents and accessories. While I was recently perusing their website, I couldn’t help but notice there were a few bare walls that could really benefit from the addition of original art. So, I decided it was time to again highlight our #LetsAddArt series!

Dining Room + Lino Lago

Lino Lago, Fake Abstract (Ingres), Oil on canvas, 28 x 24 in, $4,000 ($400/mo), Photo from anthropologie.com

I love the setup of this dining room. I love everything about it—the walls are just a little bare. Everything nods toward vintage and modern simultaneously, which couldn't be a better description of Lago’s Untitled (Ingres). The small details in Ingres’ dress at the bottom edge of the painting reflects the etching in the vase on the table as well as pulls both the blue of the wall with the pink of the chairs and the light fixture with the modern foreground element.

Bedroom + Taelor Fisher

Taelor Fisher, Odontoglossum and Bowl, Oil and natural pigment on canvas, 24 x 36 in, $1,300 ($130/mo), Photo from anthropologie.com

This whole room is an orange dreamsicle dream come true. I chose this piece by Taelor Fisherto pull in the color of the wall and the headboard and the natural tones of the nightstand and florals. It is energetic but is familiar and homey. I love the way the colors and shapes in the painting reflect its environment.

Living room + Logan Ledford

Logan Ledford, The Ode to Sherbert, Acrylic on canvas, 40 x 40 in, $3,200 ($320/mo), Photo from anthropologie.com

This couch is spunky and fun while being timeless and sophisticated. Someone with this beauty in their home more than likely is someone like Logan Ledford, the artist of this masterpiece, bright and bold. This statement piece would be an excellent addition to the sitting room to wrap in the love of patterns and textures while adding bright pops of energy to the space.

Bedroom + Allison James

Allison James, Shout It From the Mountain Tops, Acrylic, oil stick, china marker, wallpaper, rag paper, chalk pastel, graphite, 36 x 24 in, $1,500 ($150/mo), Photo from anthropologie.com

I love the bold rug and pillows in this space. The color of the comforter and the walls are two of my favorites—the way they compliment each other and the creamy white headboard poking out from behind the pillows is absolutely dreamy. This space needed a funky and sophisticated piece of art to wrap it all in bow.
