Welcome to our new show Body Language. Featuring eight artists and over fifty works, each with their own take on figural forms.

Angela Chrusciaki Blehm -

Located in Gainesville, Georgia... Angela Chrusciaki Blehm is inspired by the clothing we wear, feminine routines or roles, and the idea of color as an anecdote. She reveals the comedy of overwrought sexuality, materializing dreams and fantasies, finding beauty in the everyday, reveling in happiness. In her new series you will find three wooden assemblages figural forms paired together that can be intermixed or matched. Each piece is cut, painted, then glued together to make these human-like figurines.

Brittany Atkinson -

Brittany Atkinson based in Austin, Texas is known for her abstract female portraits and figures. Often painting in bold, colorful, confident women... she hopes to inspire other women to be bold, daring, and fearless in her work. In Brittany’s new series you will see six new works featuring her newest subject matter, cowgirls! Taking on traditional southern dress and colors, these six new pieces still hone into Brittany’s geometric female figurines.

Fares Micue -

One of our six artists who are located internationally, Fares Micue resides in Las Palmas, Spain. Drawing inspiration from her environment, personal experiences, and personal growth... Fares manipulates photographs as an art itself. Incorporating editing, photoshopping, and color variations of the photograph to create an art piece alone. Infused with symbolism, every element in her composition is intentional and contributes to the overall message.

Jaime McCarrier -

Jaime McCarrier is based in San Diego, California and has completely sold out all of her collections with the gallery. She is known for her beach figures with patterns and playful color combinations. She finds inspiration from fashion, design, and coastal style and bright colors featuring clean lines and playfulness off of positive and negative space. Her new series contains six new pieces of woman and children alongside the coast.

Nicholas Sanders -

One of our newest signed artists, Nicholas Sanders has years of experience in portrait photography, but has since honed in his practice to layering painting practices on-top of his photographs. By infusing vibrant and dynamic imagery into every project, he brings a conventional edge to creative advertising photography. His four pieces contain different subjects with interesting painted elements.

Rocky Reed -

Based right here in Iowa, Rocky Reed is a self-taught artist who paints contemporary realistic pieces featuring still life, plein air, portrait, and figural subjects. Adhering to vegan-friendly materials, Rocky often completes paintings using all vegan-friendly paints/pigments, glues, and supports. His six new paintings feature figures such as pierettes (female clowns), woman figures, realism snakes, and abstract subjects.
